What Would You Like Dr. Kuntz To Talk About?
Physical Therapy | Ballantyne | How Long Should You Give It Before You Start Seeing Results? The reality is, most people seem to go to their physical therapist or other healthcare practitioner for way too long. We often hear that people have been attending their physical therapy for 3, 6, or heck, even 12 months WITHOUT even feeing better. They may report that it helps 'temporarily,' but is not providing them the long term results that they're looking for. We strongly suggest that you should give someone 30 days ( and at the most extreme, 60 days), to allow time to start seeing results. Of course we're not saying that you'll be 100% at that time, but whether it is some relief, more awareness in how you're moving, or confidence that you're on the right track, the idea is that you DEFINITELY should have felt some sort of progress within that time frame. We like to assess and re-assess constantly ( every appointment) so that we're not surprised that you have not progressed. We should have seen it coming at that point. Let us know if this makes sense!
